We used to buy delicious Palm Sugar from a Dutch import shop in Los Angeles. After they gave up, we haven't replaced it until now. The iHerb version is just as good. The great advantage of Palm Sugar, besides its delectable taste, is that it doesn't stick together like demerara brown sugar. We sprinkle it on porridge and crumpets (from England, found at Trader Joe) among other things. It has fewer calories than granulated white sugar, and because the granules, which are fine, don't clump together, it lasts a long time. A few lumps may occur, but they're easily pounded out with a spoon.
