What is alpha-galactosidase?
Alpha-galactosidase is a natural enzyme derived from Aspergillus niger. Taken before a meal, it can help prevent gas and bloating before it happens.
What are the key benefits of Vitacost® gas Enzyme Alpha-galactosidase?
As a dietary supplement, chew and swallow 2 tablets before meals containing problem foods or as directed by a healthcare professional. This enzyme helps prevent gas from many foods including: beans, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, corn, lettuce, oat bran, onions, peas, peanuts, peppers, seeds, soy, whole grains and more.
Pregnant or lactating women, diabetics, hypoglycemics and people with known medical conditions and/or taking drugs should consult with a licensed physician and/or pharmacist prior to taking dietary supplements. Keep out of reach of children.
Sealed with an outer shrink wrap film and an inner seal. Do not use if either seal is broken or missing. Keep dry and at room temperature (59º-75ºF [15º-24℃]).
